How can one be polite enough to not hurt someone's feelings when they are constantly interrupting everytime you try to speak. They talk right over you and keep going, even after they asked a question and you didn't even get to answer it..............

It is very difficult. Maybe they are just scared of you..... I know I do that when I am scared of somebody - when I don't want to expose myself to a possibility of manipulation.
Sometimes people feel intuitively that whatever the other one wants to say is just no good and not positive and not towards their growth, or benefit (there might be hidden issues behind the scenes, and some bad intention, or some kind of strange ambition of taking control over the other person)... and hm, they may decide to use avoidance... for self defense. (?)
I personally see nothing wrong with this... cause we don't have to pick every ball that is thrown at us!
However, if you still wish to say something to this person, regardless of their ignorance... because you are sure that your intentions are good, and want their best - pack your ideas up in a letter and send it to them.
This is what I do when I realise I am not being listened to.
There is no guarantee they will read it, but at least you gave it a try, no?
Or, ask them like Lenny Kravitz does: "Are you gonna go my way?"

Hey, Dr. Stupid, did you learn that kind of treatment of people in the military? Poor you, poor fellows of yours..... and poor all of us, then..... :(

Just ignore anything they have to say after they interrupt you and when they ask just tell them to let you finish when you talk. And if they keep doing it, just walk away.

Make everything Very quiet until THEY are The ONLY thing heard! I think that the deadenning silence might help?
Sit in utter silence after they're done! After they ask what? Say, are you done now?

Just tell them"If what you have to say is not an improvement over the silence then shut the hell up".Of course you need to get them to shut up long enough to hear it.

The next time they do it, stop listening to them and immediately say "do you know you have a very bad habit of interrupting me?, can you please be more aware of it and check yourself? "
