when I ask questions relating to the Bible and so many of you are so knowledgeable out there? Thank you for your thoughts and knowledge. I ask questions because I HAVE questions. That is the only reason. I don't like to judge people (not that I never ever do as I am not perfect - darn it)!! I have trouble reading the bible from beginning to end (went to bible study/grew up in church). I have questions and I don't think it is a bad thing to ask these kinds of things on here. So HOW do I pick best answers???? So confused.

Pick the one that rings true to your heart and in which the answerer seemed to give a sincere, well thought-out, conscientious answer. Not just something they cut and pasted from a website somewhere, or cut and paste random bible verses.

Putting it to a vote would seem most fair. If you want to pick one, then pick the one that argues their own point the best, and NOT JUST THE ONE THAT AGREES WITH YOU THE MOST. Sorry for the caps, but that part is important. Remember, there are no answers in religion, so pick the one that argues their point the best, the one that makes you think the most, not just the one that self-affirms.

If there are more than one answers that say basically the same thing and I want to pick one as the best, I just picked the one of the group that answered before the others.

Would you believe: Study the bible and pray for the wisdom to make the correct choice?

When i choose a best answer, it is the one answer who I feel has really answered my question. Sometimes it is the answer that i thought was something that i would have said.

Hope this helps.

Just like picking a suit. The one that feels most comfortable to you.

Listen for God in the answers or let it go into unresolved and have others vote for the best answer. i.e. a second opinion.

you can pick the one that gives you the information you were looking for, pick the most intelligent one, not pick one at all, or set it to a vote where others can guess.
