I do not understand the concept of muslims not not using a certain product even after it has undergone a chemical transformation, just because it's origin is from a product that is deemed to be haram.
Going by that logic how can you eat anything? For example plants and trees draw their sustenance from the soil and various fertilizers are added to the soil. The fertilizers can have any origin such as animal & human excretra, the parts of animals not killed as per Islamic rituals (and even dead humans in graveyards can be fertilizer for plants) etc. Then how can you justify eating plants & fruits?
Please note - in the world EVERYTHING is recycled. For example your urine can end up as someone else's water & so on.

outlaw you are retarded. If there are ingredients derived from animals then they are not allowed because 1. the animal may not have been sacrificed according to Islamic Ruling.
2. It can be from an animal deemed haram.

think twice before opening your ignorant mouth. And learn to respect if you want to earn it. the mark of an educated mind is to be able to entertain an idea even if he doesn't accept it.

Ok, I looked up what haram is. I would like to know why a toothpaste would be haram. Please understand I am not being rude, I just ginuinely want to know why a faith would make rules about brands of toothpaste? Any insight you could give me would be helpful.

Yep!

Are you aware that there is now a movement-mostly in West Canada and the three Western USA states to put a piece of Bacon Wrapper in your coin pocket to contaminate all coins and bill so they are HARAM The idea is growing fast and has quite probably spread across all USA by now, I am watching CNN for the story!
