Methodists sprinkle. Baptists dunk.

The Baptists have changed a lot in the last 15-20 years, so some information might be outdated.

The first big difference is historical. At different points in history, baptists and methodists formed different wings in protestantism. Theologically, methodists focus more on following methods and procedures to measure their religious walks. Baptists tend to focus on personal holiness and using the right words (like born again) Also methodists generally have a more open stance to theological differences that are not the main things (like God, Bible, and Jesus) While Baptists tend to stay more conservative to all theological questions.

Most Methodists accept baptism as sprinkling for infants.
Most Baptists only immerse and only baptize those old enough to believe.

Most Baptists believe in once saved, always saved.
Most Methodists believe a Christian can fall away into apostasy.

Different governmental structures. Methodist churches are governed by conferences, Baptist churches are governed by the local congregation.

Both are opposed to drinking. Methodists allow women in the pulpit, Baptists do not.

There are others, though.
