I believe in God and that Jesus is the son of God; however, I don't go to church so I don't call myself a real christian.
I thought it was funny, but I'm a toker.
Not all jokes are appropriate. If someone was to "joke" about doing something to a child, I wouldn't laugh. I'd just be imagining what they would look like slowly going into a wood chipper.
See it all depends on who you're talking to.

The joke was not obvious. There are some who are sacreligious like you alluded to. Their humor in real life had very poor taste.
I do laugh lot, but not where jokes are made at the expense of what someone holds dear.

Because most christians don't have a sense of humor when it comes to their religion. I have a sense of humor with mine. My Gods all have a sense of humor. If God didn't have a sense of humor then why did he make humans?
