I was wondering if anyone remembers the extremely low cost carrier Vanguard Airlines. They used to have flights for under $10 when they had a sale, but then they went bankrupt. So does anyone remember Vanguard Airlines.

I remember them. Maybe it was the reason why they went bankrupt. :) Who knows. Since the fuel's even cost more than that.. Even at the time.

I remember the name but that's about it, I never flew on them. There's a lot of info on them on the web though. I just put there name into Yahoo search to see if it would refresh my memory.

Yes I do remember them. I would fly from Chicago to Minneapolis all the time and never payed more than $80RT.
