I know him in real life, he's not some unknown person I got to know online. And we even had lunch once together. What does it mean? Interested? Or just wanna be friends?

Well, he could be trying to test to see if your are going to be pining for him in other words guys are not interested in girls that will still say hi and forgive and forget if a guy stands you up b/c I remember what my mom told me "If he does it once, shame on him and if he does it twice, shame on me" in otherwords if he stands u up mention it to him see if something went on if he didnt have but a stupid reason or didnt even tell you then hes able to do it again and probably will. So why give him the second chance turn the tables and let him go if he comes back to you on his knees well then thats what I call the tables have been turned!!! GOOD LUCK!!

Tell him he stood you up and never said anything and that makes him a scumbag then say you're not interested in someone like him BYE BYE and move on

Met a girl online once. She stood me up. Found out later she was sleeping around and stood me up because she found out she was pregnant. Don't trust him.

Sounds like he is afraid to meet you, or maybe his wife wanted him to run some errands. Or maybe his parole officer made him check in. Consider yourself lucky that he didn't show, or you could have had a terrible experience and your parents could have had to identify your body!

He was probably scared. If it bothers you though you should ask him the reason if you can put it behind you just keep it an online friendship.
