I'm just wondering what happens to all the stuff that means the most to me... because without certain things, I don't think I'd want to be there.
And on the same note, will there be hangovers in heaven?

I am a Theologian...and I hope the following helps: You can't take anything material of this world with you if and when you go to Heaven. The only thing that you take is "you"...and all that is "within" you...your memories; feelings; thoughts...all the evil you have done, and or all the good and right that you have done, and no, there won't be such a thing as a "hangover" in heaven...where Christ dwells, because in heaven there is no "alcohol" upon which to get drunk. But I would imagine, that in heaven, there are things of SOME type of nature that would highly "enlighten" both body and soul and spirit. Of that I have no doubt.

If you believe that after death you will go to heaven, then you are indeed a good person. In heaven all your desires will be fulfilled, I reckon, so why worry. Your favourite earthly belongins will be useless there. You wil be able to get the best they can offer, as you earned your points on Earth to be in Heaven!
But keep this in mind, no body ever came back from Heaven or Hell to tell us all about it.
Your Heaven or Hell in right now here where you live. If you have made sensible decisions , right choices, and thought ful actions,
you reap the benefits of all your efforts and actions here on Earth, and If you have done good and lived a life of charity and compassion towards all creatures then you are living already in Heaven, and you have all your favorite stuff with you including your hangovers! so why think about Heaven as a distant place some where up in the Sky! Hell can be yours here too, depending on the kind of life you lead here now.
You get your heaven and Hell here on Earth in the NOW. Sorry to dissapoint you. Anyway cheer up, and Live life now as tomorrow may never come.

Why try to go the heaven then. Heaven only has heavenly pleasures. Hell is better for you - it has all earthly pleasures you know and love.
I heard there are no hangovers in Hell, so you can drink to your heart's content - the only thing you should worry about is the air conditioning. Heaven has central ac, hell has none- not even an overhead fan.

It's hard to tell whether you're serious or just being a jerk.
How in the world do you suppose you could possibly acquire a hangover in Heaven??
Think before you speak, son. Heaven and God and Jesus are nothing to joke about. You leave your earthy body and everything else of and about earth behind and become your spirit form. Whether you go to Heaven remains to be seen but joking about it will not help at all.

this question has always stricken me and that i'll purely allow you to understand my personal concept besides as some others' i understand. i in my view believe we will be in a position to comprehend them yet our kin is purely no longer an similar. the concept of seeing my brother or mum and dad or grandparents bypass by technique of me and performance no concept who they're is scary to me. when the end comes everything will be destroyed. Flesh and materialism cannot enter the kingdom of heaven..only spirit. Those w/ God will forget about there life on earth and rejoice and praise God for eternity.

I find your first question very interesting.
I do not personaly beleive that heaven is a material place. Therefore, earthly pleasure could not be transfered there.

I don't think we'll want to. We are not on this earth to get caught up in the pursuit of physical pleasures, and material possessions, but we are here to overcome such tendencies.
