A friend of mine has come to the belief that he is bisexual, but won't tell anyone because he thinks that no woman would ever want him again.

He also thinks that men who know him will treat him much differently if they know as well. I know from just hanging out with other guy friends that would likely be true. They'll let a gay guy hang out with them, but won't include him in anything serious, and definitely would never have any kind of 'deep' discussion with them.

Was just wondering what you all think. I've already given my opinion.

How much harder would it be for him to find a serious relationship leading to marrige with a woman?

I think it might be hard if he doesn't tell..he could find a great girl without..but then if it comes out then...it would be like lying to her, ya know? I feel bad that his bud's would treat him different. My way of thinkin is, it doesn't matter as long as my friend doesn't hit on me when its not wanted. But I would...I mean I dated a bi-guy. Its not a big deal to me. i wish him luck though.

Well if he's not being honest then he'll never find a serious relationship with anyone. I wouldn't want to find out that my boyfriend was bi unless he was the one telling me. As far as the man aspect I don't understand what that is about he was the same guy he was before you found out he was bisexual.

I would never date a bi man. There are too many diseases that stem from male bisexual sex because of the taboo that cause men to be secretive. I would appreciate the man being honest with me but could not continue dating him.

I would not want a bisexual man as a husband because of the fact that he would want to see men while he was sleeping with me and I wouldn't want to do that and nowadays with all the diseases out there you have to be carefull just with heterosexual men. It's just to much of a risk.

i would.
Some people won't because they feel homosexuality or in this case bisexuality is a sin.. others won't care as long as he doesnt have a man on the side.
I dated a bisexual a few years back and i told him I didnt care as long as he didnt cheat on me. (that being man or woman)
It was funny because we found the same kinds of men attractive so we could oogle the same actors :)

no i would not-- it just opens up the competition ..i mean, it's bad enough that he might cheat with a woman, married or not, ..but a guy too? ay nono

as for it being difficult for him to hang out with other guys...i'd say just do the don't ask don't tell thing. if society's not ready to handle it, why fight them?
