i was born in the u.s.a in 1973 my dad was born here and has always lived here i never registered my birth here and i never applied for citizenship can i was i ever a citizen annybody know???

If you were born in the USA then the hospital will have registered your birth. Yes, you are a US citizen. If your mother or father was born elsewhere and still has citizenship there, then there's a chance you could have dual citizenship or the possibility of applying for dual citizenship. Some countries will make you give up your US (or other) citizenship in order to have citizenship there, though, so always check what the laws are in that country.

Yes. If you were born here you should have a birth certificate you can get through your state Secretary of State. You can ask the hospital where you were born.

if your parents were legal u.s. citizens and you were born in the u.s. then yes you are an american citizen. a citizen by birth does not have to apply for citizenship it is granted by being born in this country.

It's all a matter of legal documentation !! That's LEGAL documentation which is very easy to check out very cheaply. You must have legal documentation to be a legal resident OR citizen of the USA. LEGAL!!! Who cares where you are from, as long as you are legal and not here driving down already low wages.

if you are born in this country... you are probably a citizen..
exceptions... if your parents are not citizens and declare you to be a citizen of another country... in which case.. when you are of legal age.. you can still accept USA citizenship.
so.. I guess it depends upon your mother.. and your grandparents on your father's side.
