Nope, never, cause I'm a proponent of the philosophy that NO question is a dumb question!! As a matter of fact, I think that people who are NOT curious are the most extremely dumb of all. Those are people who never ask a question! Anyway, if I ever do feel the need to punch or kick something, I will do what the lady above does who kneads bread - what a great idea!

No, not at all. I enjoy the stupid, dumb, idiotic questions because it gives me a chance to think up a stupid, dumb, idiotic answer. I always try to make my answer be stupider, dumber, and more idiotic than the question. Sometimes it's a real challenge because some of the questions are a product of a brain-dead mind.

When you say 'dumb question', if you're referring to someone who asks a very simple question, but honestly doesn't know the answer, then no. Pursuit of knowledge is never something to put down, no matter how obvious the answer may be to the majority of us.
But I'm suspecting you're talking about the "hey there's a head growing out of my butt, what do I do about it" questions. For those, I just ignore 'em. I figure it's a punishment to them to not have the pleasure of reading one of my responses. *grin*

No, it's not a need for me, rather an impulse that I have to fight. I don't want to punch someone just because they're stupid. If I did that, I'd never get anywhere!

not so much the asking of the question (which is usually stating the obvious), but the drones that go on with rediculous answers that go on and on, illustrating their stupidity with punctuation.
I'd curb the urge to cause bodily harm, your time would be much better spent laughing in the face of the buffonnery.

As a trainer, I often hear questions that... well ok, they sometimes are stupid. I will just not answer right away, and give them a smile. They usually are able to figure it out.
If not, I feel like choking them
