I wouldn't put it that way.

Ever since the beginning of humanity, humans knew that they were alone in a big world where scary and unexplainable things happen. That's where religion comes in. It fills the void in people's lives that would otherwise be filled with fear. It gives people something to hold on to.

Basically, that's how religion works.

Not just Christians. It's all the religious peoples. It's a disgusting cycle, where self-discipline is lax, yet self-loathing is prevalent, and in an attempt to feel loved by someone that will never leave them or betray them they are all desperate to convert others. Really, conversion is just the fanatic's way of buying admission into Heaven.

There is nobody that will love you for oppressing others' views, BUT if you learn to love yourself for who you are you might not be such a miserable person.

Hmmm... you are pre-supposing that nobody loves Christians. As a Christian, I can most definitely tell you that isn't true at all.

"When did you stop beating your wife?" pre-supposes that you actually are beating your wife!

Your question is poorly worded. How about "It seems to me that Christians are too weak to accept that nobody loves them. Does this seem true to you, and if so why?"

Being a Christian, especially in today's society, requires a tremendous amount of mental and emotional strength. We have to stand up to fools who condemn us publicly and stay strong in the face of such opression.

Yes, there are people who hate us--but to say that "nobody" loves us is just wrong.

I believe that everybody is loved by God and that is really all that matters...Who cares if those that arent believers love us..We are here to serve God and be a witness. Of course we want to be loved by all people but the fact remains that were not. It is Gods commandment that we love one another. So the answer to your question is that we as Christians are not too weak to realize that nobody loves us because that is completely untrue, but even if it were true, we are motivated by Gods love not by everyone eleses.

Christians, like everyone else, find it difficult to swallow their pride and admit that, while they may not be wrong, someone else might be right. In convincing themselves an ancient book full of obsolete practices and proverbs is the infallible word of an omnipotent deity, they have set themselves up for failure. Anything that leaves no room for growth or change will stagnate and choke itself eventually, and rightfully so-

Oh, wait, sorry, allow me to answer your question on a level you can comprehend:

No, they're not "too weak", but some forget that their religion teaches them to love everyone, even twits who ask bratty questions on the internet.

Who said nobody loves me? I have more than 100 people in my family that love's me very much. I have a great a husband, and three wonderful boys who loves me very much. And best of all, if one day all my family members stopped loving me, I have my God who will never stop loving me. Now are you too weak to accept that even though we cristians don't know you we still love you? Even if you hate us?

Weak in that they do not think for themselves or make the connection between santa and god. Weak in that they don't think you can just live a moral life without being an idiot believing in a fantasy and guilt.
They love themselves a lot b/c they are "saved"- u gotta love that crap. I think they think everyone loves them, especially the man upstairs (what???)

I'm so sorry that you think no one loves you.

Yes, I know, you said that about Christians, but what you really think is no one loves you. That's not true, I'm sure you have someone on this earth who will love you.

You probably don't even really know what love is. I'd give you the information, but it is very precious to me to know it, and giving it to you would be like throwing a gold ring on an oyster bed; a worthless act.

well maybe because "Us christian" strongly believe that God loved us before we were even in our mother's belly. We know God is real and I just hope one day you can feel as strong as I do today to say I am bless with love.
Thanks to the Lord I am surrounded with good people who not only tell me they love so but they show it too.
And maybe, just maybe that's why "us Christians" don't accept nobody loves us.......

God bless you with family and friends who love you and respect you!!!!
