Bible - end of world - locusts-Christian answers plz?

There is a part of the bible that states something about locusts in the end of times. I am 48 years YOUNG. Anyway, when I was a CHILD in Virginia, I remember a locust swarm that was horrible. Was THAT supposed to be the end of the world? I am pretty sure they swarm every so many years in different areas. Can someone clarify this in relation to the bible? Thank you.

Rev.17:10-14[ #1 - #5 had fallen, Rome #6 is, Jesus ascended, and John on Patmos, in Rome #6. And in #7, the world gets the bible.

The bible was written about 2000 years ago... and it was written with those times in mind.. now while the bible is still very applicable to our lives, things like locust plagues would me more time suited.. Back when farming was your way of life and way of food there was nothing worse than having a locust plague because it would destroy your life and cause you to starve... just use your imagination when it comes to something like that in the 21st century and see what you come up with.

Locust swarm every couple of years... it's been happening since the beginning of locusts... I think if Armagedon was on the verge.. we would definately know it.

That is by nature, but when God sends the locust you read about, you can for sure expect a WHOLE lot more.

Rev 9:1-11
