it was a huge pot because of company, anyway is it too late to freeze the rest, today is Thursday, so would be 5 days in the refrigerator. Still smells good, and tastes great!

As long as the leftovers were refrigereated within a short time, you should be fine.

When people talk about food going bad (bacteria issues) they say that you should never keep anything longer than 3 days. I know I have and my husband and I are still alive. I would just be careful. I think you would know if something goes bad by the smell.

Spaghetti sauce always seems to taste better the next day! I like my sauce kinda sweet, and I add some sugar to it. It sounds kinda gross, but found out I wasn't the only one. People who have tried my sauce really like it!

The tomatoes are acidic so it should stay fresh for at least a week or so

I think it´s too late to freeze. It could make you sick when you reheat it.
