My brother has really been acting out lately. My dad's moved to Georgia, so he's not here to dicipline them. Before you say divorce problems, we're not divorced. He doesn't say no, he won't do things, he'll say, yes, he'll do them, but never do them. He never does anything we ask and has no respect for anyone.

HELP!

well first stop asking him to do things. since he never does them dont expect him to, less stress for ur self. how old is ur brother? if ur dads moved then yes can very well be rebeling against that. advice u ask, hmmm, ask him to go out with you sometimes to hang with friends or shop, dont take no, dont ask in advance just say hey u wanna go and grab and run! is heinto video games to where he is so into something he does forget what he said hed do? and for the respect thing, cant give advice on it. if he dosent respect himself then no he wont respect anyone. try to get into big brothers and sisters program, maybe having another good male role model around would help. good luck

Your brother is acting out and your dad moved to Georgia.
Who are the "them" he is not disciplining (you said brother)?
I am so glad you did not divorce your dad (even though it sounds a little strange).
Who doesn't say no??
Never mind, I'll go to other questions.
This is too confusing.

He is still acting out because dad is not enforcing the rules. He needs tough love program before he is way out of control. I think he needs some counceling asap.

Good luck!

Spank him hard...LOL! You should talk to him and reason that everybody in family needs to do some work, especially if they promise to do it otherwise he looses credibility, trust and respect. May be he has some issues and is getting back on u all, take him to a phychatrist, who would know how to make him talk about his problems.

He's acting out because your dad's gone. When you get back together, he'll be fine.

maybe he thinks that if he acts out it will stop your dad from moving out. boys need their dads and he probably is really hurting from this decision.
