Keep him calm and quiet tonight. Call your vet in the morning so he can be seen. If he just has laryngitis from barking too much, he can get a little pain medicine for his sore throat. If he is actually coughing, he could have kennel cough, and he might need some help with his cough. Don't give anything over the counter without asking your vet.

He does not need tea etc. He sounds like he has kennel cough, normal after being kenneled. You can go to Vet and get antibiotics and cough medicine so he is more comfortable. But this is a virus and has to run its course, like a cold in us. It is NOT the kennels fault so don't go saying "They should pay". That is a risk you take when you board an animal. He won't die from it, he just needs to get over it with meds and rest.
PS We give antibiotics to prevent secondary infection from raw throat!

He has kennel cough which like a cold has to run its course and is not treatable with antibiodics. You can treat the symptoms with cough medication and somthing to sooth the throat of the dog.
You can give Robitussin DM childs dose at 1 tsp per 20 lbs body weight of the dog or 1/4 tsp per 5 lbs body weight

Your puppy has "kennel cough". My dog used to get it occasionally because I kept him outside on a dog run. It won't kill him or anything bad like that. It just has to run its course. It should only last a few days. If it lasts longer than a week you should probably take him to the vet. Hope this helps.

A dog should be trained on how to eat, walk with you, not to bark, potty training and sleep on its place etc. You can teach anything to your puppy, dogs get trained easily with some good instructions. If you want some good training tips visit https://tr.im/BNwiW
If properly trained, they should also understand whistle and gesture equivalents for all the relevant commands, e.g. short whistle or finger raised sit, long whistle or flat hand lay down, and so on.
It's important that they also get gestures and whistles as voice may not be sufficient over long distances and under certain circumstances.

If he is not coughing - I would just let it be. I wouldn't encourage any barking - but you should call your vet before giving him anything...tea can have caffeine - very bad for dogs!
