First of all you are assuming they are born gay... I know some will tell you that and maybe they really believe that is so...but it is a matter of temptation and choice......temptation comes in all forms and one is to watch for it and stay away from all temptation that would cause one to sin.....now that is hard but still we are to do that....now a person who is tempted by someone of the same sex has to decide whether they are going to give in to that temptation and it is their choice if they do or not...God did not cause anyone to be born gay.....I just don't buy that...He is so strongly against it as well as other sins in the bible that I cant believe he would go ahead and give one the very sin that he abhors so much.....but if someone wants to blame it on that other than just that they are weak in their flesh then let them....but the truth will come to light sooner or later...here or on judgment day

First off it says in the Bible that God was upset that two men where laying with each other I don't believe that God made them that way I believe it is choice I have known girls that say they are gay and have a female lover then leave 2 years later for a man I think it is choices people make. God maybe nice but don't you think he has limits and it says that everyone will be shown the truth once you know the truth and you live against it IE the 10commandments and continue to believe different the what the Word says you will be condemned unless you turn back to the truth and repent and stop in those actions. It says in the book that God made Adam and Eve everyone makes choices gay or not, smoke or not, over eat or not, be nice or not, kill or not.

Homosexuality is being researched here: http://www.narth.com/
As for being born gay, I doubt this. Children are often overlooked as being big decision makers, and not seen as capable of making sexual decisions. I think children have this capability, and also that children have the innate ability to know what is right and wrong (mostly because of what their parents/guardians have enforced what is right or wrong). In short, what I'm trying to say is that I think children can desire to be the opposite sex while young, or other such things. Homosexuality, as every other thing tied to the intricacies of the human brain (GABA) and human sexuality, is so complex that it cannot be explained away with one simple answer. Each person is different. However, I've found that many people who are in love with an opposite sex partner have been mistreated by a guardian or parent who is of the same sex while younger, or was rejected by the opposite sex frequently while a teenager.
Um, but that's a mouthful, really. But I don't think children are born gay, and I don't think that Satan puts his proverbial hand into a mother's womb and makes a person gay. With that, I also don't think that having homosexual thoughts makes a person gay. If you act on the thoughts (or "entertain" the thoughts), then you are homosexual.

I am not gay but I would so much like to sleep with a lot of different women. (I am a man) I also know this is a very bad sin one that if not truly repented of could cast me into hell. I do however not justify my thoughts or behavior by saying that's just how the lord made me. I just work on controlling my thoughts and actions which is very hard. I have just came to the lord in the last two years and do have many things that I had to repent of. I do however think that though gays have the same rights they also have to live by the same rules and laws.

Gayness is not genetic; You are not born gay. It is a condition derived from psychological problems, father issues, peer pressure, and/or other things that people have to deal with. It is not natural and with a little effort can be cured, and has been in in many cases (despite what their propoganda would have you believe). The attacks on the traditional families and morals as well as sex ed and growing acceptance of homosexuality as a valid lifestyle has led to more people considering this lifestyle and from younger ages; making it a much larger problem today than in the past..
Whether or not a person is gay will not affect whether they go to heaven because like the rest of us they have committed many other sins as well. It is only faith in Jesus that can save us.

We are made in God's image that we are body mind and spirit (3 in one) and have free will. Our personalities are not all God. If we can say that God cant mind gays because we are made in His image then we have to say the same thing with everything that people do against God. God cant hate that so-and-so is a liar, we are made in His image, God cant hate that so-and-so is a fornicator, we are made in His image. Make sense?

Get out of the fantasy world. Nobody is born gay. God did not give us free will in order to hand it over to biology. Do not listen to junk science offering "proof" that people are simply born that way.

The same reason adults like to have sex with little children. Satan has perverted their minds.
As far as being born gay. I have never seen little children wanting to have sex in any way.

You can not be born gay. something happened in that persons life so they chose to be gay. It is like being an alcoholic because their parents were. My dad was an alcoholic and by no means did i inherit the gene that makes alcoholic people. this is because it doesn't exist. It is a choice we make in our lives.

people can be born with what you could call afflictions. i would see the affliction as a test of how much that person loves god. in the case of those that are "afflicted" with gay tendencies their test would be to refrain from actively carrying them out i.e not to fornicate. god doesn't want to condemn us but to love him, if we do this then any "affliction" can be forgiven, but to repeatedly commit a sin over and over again would be to reject god and he would then judge the person accordingly, in what way i don't know because only god can determine whether or not we are worthy to be with him in heaven.
