The double standards are set by man , not God . Believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved . The only standard that I know about is the Bible .2nd Timothy 4:3-4 2nd Timothy 3:16-17

I'm a christian and I'm mean and ill all the time and don't like people. That doesn't mean I'm not a christian and I don't love and live for God. I'm human.....
I don't pose as anything. What you see is what you get and I'm very outspoken and tell people what I am thinking. That is my personality. Has nothing to do with being a Christian....
If someone say something to me and I don't like it I smack them real hard and pray later.

It's not just Christians or religions....it is people in general. Double standards, then the victim role comes into play. Humans are strange. Lol!

They all don't do that. What many people forget is that God gave us a brain to think with and to use to make up our own mind. He wants us to come to him, not be forced to do it. Jesus spent his entire life tying to get that across to the Jews and the gentiles. He wants us to love one another and lead by example, or by being a servant. Unfortunately all religions get corrupted by men and women. Sometimes it is intentional sometimes not. You don't force people to accept your way. I let people see who I am and make an impression on them that way, but I never try to force anyone. You can't convert others, they have to want it. You can't condemn others because it is not our place to do so. It is God's and his only. Thanks for asking the question. I hope you see not all Christians are "evil". Feel free to email me on this or anything else. I would look forward to becoming a Friend, but if you don't want to then it is okay.

what double standard...you continue to ask questions to rile the Christian and make fun of them..and I have not seen any questions trying to do the same to you......you have a hatred for Christians that is very evident...you can keep up your childish hatred towards us we don't mind...because all you do is give us the opportunity to respond with Words that share Jesus......but you know what ...it still doesn't change the fact that God loves you and one day you will know that......I pray it isn't too late when you find out......

That is like asking "do you still beat your wife?" A lot of Christian people are .... drum roll please ... sinners. Heck, totally imperfect. That makes them just like the rest of the world, i.e., flawed, fallen and desperately in need of redemption. I was blessed to have faith demonstrated for me by unbelievable parents. The way to live is to love. The message of Christ isn't any more complicated than that. When he was asked to name the greatest commandment by the teachers of the law, Christ said it is to love God with all your heart, soul and mind; and to love your neighbor. He said that there is no greater love than to lay down your life for a friend. Romans chapter 8 is all about the love of God.

There are a bunch of do's and don't's in the Bible if you wish to see it that way. The gift my parents gave me was the ability to see that God is real in our lives today and provides us with a profound hope ... and that love is the only thing that matters.

I'm horribly sorry for you if you haven't had a glimpse of that truth.

Christians try do the best they can but all humans have a tendency to err at times. not all Christians are guilty of what you are trying to say. general sing Christians to make Christianity look bad is very easy to do as is generalizing people based on skin color and race, we should all try to stop the practice of generalizing people and beliefs, it serves no one any good.

Because they think they are offering you something free, and can't understand why you refuse it. What you intend to be a defense, appears as an offense to them. Any further discussion reinforces the notion that you have a latent need for their free gift, and are subtly asking for more.

Make your statement, and walk away, or send them away. It's your choice...

And try to remember, everyone has the right to introduce themselves, and say hello. Just like you have the right to say, "Get lost..."
