Need more details to the scenario. Though I am going to ignore the Russia vs. USA part because Russia is not much of a power anymore... at least for now.

For example. If we were to attempt a conventional land invasion of mainland China, we would get slaughtered. But if we simply needed to keep China boxed in, lets say to protect Taiwan, we could handle that (wouldn't be pretty though). Our Naval and Air power can easily handle anything they have to through at us, our ground forces are far superior but they have such numbers.

To put it another way we (the USA) are far stronger then China pound for pound. We could consider a land invasion of China though its doubtful we could win (or at best would take huge losses). China could never even dream of invading the USA.

So I will give China home field advantage, but anywhere else that can't be walked to from China is ours.

America has not won a declared war since WWII. They failed to eradicate the communist threat in Korea and Vietnam, and there are only a few notorious liars and spin doctors who will tell you that America has won the war in Iraq or Afghanistan. I think Americans just don't have the stomach for fighting. Look at what happened on Sept 11th, 2001. A few people barely armed at all were able to kill thousands of people because nobody had the guts to stand up to them and say NO! Those planes were loaded with fat Americans in suits and ties who know how to stab people in the back but were way too soft when faced with a conflict.
In terms of the terrorist and covert operations America has conducted over the past 30 years in places like South America and the Middle East the US military-industrial-entertainment complex has done a little better, but they were not exactly wars, so they were not exactly won.
The winner in the end of any modern conflict is not going to be whoeverhas the best PR campaign, it's going to be who's left sitting on the land when the dust has cleared and all the technology has burned itself out. So as per your question about USA CHina or Russia, it depends who invades whom. USA could NEVER effectively occupy either of those countries. Russia could never occupy the USA but China has such a large population base to draw from that they could potentially occupy the US, although there will have to be A LOT of changes in economics, wealth distirbution, ideology and technolgy before something like that could happen. So i would say it's pretty unlikey to happen in the next 15 years or so.

China vs USA: Would be hard to tell. To begin with, both the US and Chinese economies would take a hit unless the warfare industries could make up for the lack of consumer products and growth. As well, China may be large, but their population concentration is located on the coast, and only inland awhile, also along the rivers. So concentrated forces on the coast would be the way to go against China. The main problem would be getting the chinese peoples' moral crushed. They know they are large, they know they have that ability to fight. The only fault I see in going to war with China is, they do not have the political fibre to do so. They know as well as any other it would be detrimental to them if they were to go to war with the US.

China vs Russia: See WWII - Hitlers march into Russia. We'd have to do long distance warfare to possess any real chance of winning I believe. If we foot and heel it in there, we'll have a hell of a time. Regardless of our technological advancements, it will be roughly the same. Russians know how to fight in their country, we don't. Again, the Russians wouldn't go to war with us. They lack the political and military fibre. It would be long, but all aside, they cannot quite match the military strengths of the US at this moment in time.

China vs America
I think the Chinese would win because they dont mess around and have huge armed forces.

Russia vs America
Russia is the same as China when it comes to armed forces and well Russian soldiers are really just kids so i would say America would win

America has a huge army, navy, air force and marines and have top notch technology so stand a good chance against almost everyone

Kiddies, this would not be a pretty sight. Russians would be as opposed to any war with the US as Americans would be as opposed with Russia. China economy is based on manufacturing and we are his biggest customer. so why would they want to do anything either. War is not a video game and should never be taken or entered into lightly.

The conventional wars would have to be fought in South Korea or Afghanistan. With American advanced weapons Russian and Chinese soldiers would be put into a killing field. American air power would crush there air forces and American M1 tanks and Bradley vehicles would roll over there armies.

I don't think there would be a nuclear conflict, both sides lose, NO ONE WANTS TO BE DESTROYED...

With Nukes, everyone loses.

Without Nukes, It's hard to tell if the advanced technologies of the U.S.A. would be enough to overpower the sheer size of the Chinese army, or the vastness of the Russian frontier.

These questions lack the necessary information needed to answer them.

Before anybody can provide you with an intelligent answer - they will need the following information:

1) What is the issue being fought over?
2) What are the strategic goals of each side?

We kick everyone's butt on the seas and air... we have to work a little harder on the ground.

There is no question on who rules the sea and air.

One more thing... I think we can count on the Chinese fighting in uniforms and not hiding behind women and children, which should make it a little more of a war by the rules.
