The best thing I could tell you to do is house train the duck which sounds funny or maybe just put in your backyard...or get a baby swimming pool so when the duck lays eggs the water is clear to see where to grab the eggs before they die.

That's what ducks do. In the wild they lay their eggs by swamps/ponds or any other body of water. That is where they live

Try to get the duck to nest in a box close to the pond, see if she will let you guide her and one of her eggs to box.
