Well he is not an old bird only 2 and when he pees a little blood comes out but not very much. At least he thinks it it blood since it is red. PLEASEPLEASE HELP!

if it is blood the bird defiantly needs to go to an avian vet. it the whole thing red or just like little streaks, if its the whole thing and the bird is eating pelleted food it could be from the dye in the pellets

You need to tell your friend to take the bird to a bird specialist. They are a bit hard to find..there is only one in my area and we have a good vet system. But, something like that needs to be examined by a vet. It could be an infection or something else that won't clear up on its own, and birds are very sensitive animals, so you need to tell your friend to find a bird specialist vet and make an appointment as soon as possible

If you are watching your friends bird and it has recently been moved the light blood may be caused from stress, calm the bird and keep an eye on it, should be fine and require no vet attention

Other common causes are:
First-time egg layer - if this is what it is, you should have an egg within a couple of days.
Internal injury - this is a tough one to diagnose. They usually just improve with time.
