no, you only look stupid if YOU think you look stupid. But you shouldn't wear a shower cap in your water aerobics class because water could still get in. The shower cap only keeps your hair dry from the shower dripping water onto your head, but if it's like a bath type thingy, like a swimming pool, water can still get in.
but don't worry, you won't look stupid as long as you don't think you look stupid =)

Get a swim cap. A shower cap will fall off easily.

No, you gained't look stupid. i imagine it really is a good theory! that's showing that you want to be modest (A characteristic that most of the girls in our international at present regrettably, lack) that's large. Who cares what people positioned on? do not enable peer stress persuade you to do some thing that you're feeling uncomfortable with! wish I helped!

you would look stupid to wear a shower cap anywhere in public.
also the shower cap is made to keep dry from the shpwer head, but will not keep your hair dry underwater
