over 3 years and counting. she lived in wyoming i lived in florida she had to stay there for a health issue of her son and my children are here... we only started as friends online and the more we talked the more i realized that if i truly wanted what appeared to be the perfect woman i would have to wait and see . it was hard as men have urges but the more i got to know her the easier it was to remain commited and not screw this up. her son finally was cleared by the doctors to move and she came to florida after 10 months of online. we dated for about another 6 months lived together for a just over a year and have been married for just over a year so my answer it can work if both of you are commited by wont if one or both are not in this for the long hual. i seen the light at the end of the tunnel and knew a long distance relation ship would be a very close one if i was true to her and proved i was where i said i would be ......

I used to think that love can conquer all...but NO, it does not and it will not work. I was in a FOUR YEAR long-distance relationship, so I thought it was very steady and secure. Boy, was I ever wrong! In the end, I got my heart all shattered and to this day I still carry that scar around. Don't do it while you're still ahead!

I dont imagine absolutely everyone needs to have a lengthy distance courting. existence takes position and receives contained in the way, you purely ought to artwork round it. If someone should be with their lengthy distance BF or GF adequate/or they love them adequate, they are going to bypass to the position the different individual is and give up the lengthy distance element. those those who've relationships over the internet or out of state "purely because" are likely dropping their time. lengthy distance relationships wont very last if there isnt dedication.

Personal experience tells me the long distance relationship could work out, bu need more patience and more consideration from both sides It's hard to maintain, but this doesn't mean it could not work out at all, it depends.

they can, but they're not for every couple. I've been in one for 3 1/2 years and we're still doing good. How long of a distance makes a difference though. my bf and I are only 100 miles apart so we can still visit each other. Trust, commitment and communication are important.

Long distance, in my experience, does not work long term. I've been in two; it's great together, but that "absence makes the heart grow fonder" phrase ... well, I have serious doubts on it. You can be an exception, so go for it. Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all.

Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't. Also depends how far they are. I was in a long distance relationship and it lasted a year and a half.

Only if you havee a really good relationship with the person and you know that he would never do anything with anyone. They usually don't work if you are young and think you are in love.

long distance platonic relationships work, but romantic ones don't seem to be able to last very long over distance.
