Short answer is no.
libido tends to drop as we age. Given that prozac also inhibits the sex drive then I can well imagine yours must be low at this point. Coming off prozac will take a few weeks.
There is nothing to say you wont or cant have an active sex life but you wont have to worry about jumping on everything that moves :-)

Taking Prozac is how you could wean your self off of the different SSRI, genuinely. no matter if you do not intend to proceed to exist Prozac afterwards. Prozac has an extremely lengthy 0.5-life, meaning it continues to be on your equipment for about a week and steadily tapers off. Zoloft has a a lot shorter 0.5-life, and in case you stop taking it immediately away you'll maximum in all probability struggle through from SSRI withdrawals, which as a former Effexor person i'll inform you're about the worst element i have ever been by ability of. that's continually a good theory to ask your well being care service earlier replacing your drug routine besides, yet my thoroughly unprofessional opinion is that you could be actual superb. good success. Zoloft did not do some thing good for me both.

I have known several people including myself that quit taking it, and I haven't heard, or seen anything that make me believe that. Your libido will come back if you lost it to begin with.
