No...the social worker is only doing their job. There are several reasons a child may be removed from the home. A few years ago, the main reason was due to abuse from the parent. Now days, however; I have noticed that children are being removed from the home due to their own behavior problems. (Stealing, parental abuse....'sounds weird, huh?' , drugs, etc. ) Each situation is varied, but in no way is the social worker to blame.

No. it's not the social workers' fault that children are in bad sitations. It's the social worker's responsibility to make sure that the child is taken care of in the event that Child Protective Services is alerted to a situation calling for the removal of a child. A lot of the time, it's the parent's fault for having their children in bad environments.

nope. although some social workers do abuse the power they are entrusted with if society didnt need someone to constantly get on to the very few parents who are idiots then they would no longer be needed. their (social worker) role is to save the children and their motto is err on the side of caution becuase it sucks for the child if they leave a child and a child ends up hurt or worse dead becuase they didnt make a better judgement. as far as im concerned the mere mention of social workers makes my skin crawl becuase like i said some think they are god and will destroy a family if you forget tosay excuse me after sneezing

No someone had to report it to them.So really it would be the parents fault depending on why they got taken away.If someone reported a lie than no it's not the parents fault. You can't blame the workers. They are just doing their job.
