Because they were the first to discover that their foundational book is extremelly revolutionary. What Christians have in their hands (nor in their hearts, though) is a powerful force that can usher in justice, beauty (of course, sensual and erotic beauty included), human dignity, respect for others and humility. The latter is something Christians, most noticeable now in this Bush era, are found wanting.

That's interesting, Christ taught knowledge and free will. These are the foundations of Christianity!
We have the free will to choose if we will be Christians or not--that truly is the ultimate freedom to me, and it is a cornerstone to our faith!
We also regularly seek to improve our knowledge by attending bible studies and services with teaching lessons about the Bible and learning to live life God's way.
I, for one, do not live in "such FEAR" as you say. Sure, I have fears, but I don't live in them.
What is it that would prompt you to believe that your question has any basis in reality?

Afraid of what knowledge? You mean the knowledge that the TV and media are sending out saying being gay is cool? Or the knowledge that the law allows abortion? Or do you mean the knowledge as in educated? You should figure out what your trying to say before you post it for the world to see.
And as for free will, why don't you learn what it means to have free will before you post another question. God gave you free will and you are choosing not to use it by following what the world is saying by trying to put Christianity down. (which by the way you are failing miserably at)
You have no knowledge and you don't use your free will, you my friend should live in fear.

I don't know what you are talking about. God;s Word tells us the study to show ourselves approved of God. 2 Timothy 2: 15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. In fact if a Christian studies what the Apostle Paul tell us today we can understand all things if we consider what he says. 2 Timothy 2: 7 Consider what I say; and the Lord give thee understanding in all things. We have liberty in the Lord. We have a free will we can reject or believe what the Lord Jesus Christ did for us on the cross. 2 Corinthians 3: 17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. Maybe you don't know a true Christian or maybe you not one yourself.

Why do you assume that all Christians think this way? Most don't.
Unless, of course, you are defining "knowledge" and "free will" and "fear" in ways that are convenient to your own prejudices. Any poll can be skewed, and all results manipulated to your own desires.
Of course, NO atheist would EVER manipulate data, it just isn't HONEST, right? And all atheists are uninterested, altruistic parties in their own debates, right? (Yes, I'm being sarcastic...)
When you have to lay down your own prejudices and stereotypes, the world gets a lot more complicated, doesn't it?

This is a pretty pitiful question because the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom thus saith the word of God and this only shows you are very ignorant. Also Jesus said ye shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free.
A true child of God KNOWS this.

We're not afraid of knowledge,in fact we seek the truth in the Bible.
Also we are born with free will, but i'm not afraid of it.
I fear nothing exept what our creator and God can do to us,on judgment day.
I don't fear the terorist's,because that is what they want.

No one, I have ever heard of, who is of The Christian Faith lives in fear of the world... As ones of The Faith we should embrace knowledge, tempered with decernment, and we praise God for His great gift of Free Will.

You're full of beans.
I'm a Christian, and I know Christians. We aren't afraid, especially of knowledge and free will.
You're not a Christian, and you don't know Christians. You also don't know how to pose a question or make a statement.
