My hair is straight, and when it's humid (it is always as this is a very humid area), it's limp and dead.
What can I use to make it livlier without leaving it heavy? I don't use hair products usually....and I can never get a curl to stay in my hair or keep it flat when I use a flat iron. What gives? Should I just shave my head bald and hope for the best? Ehhh....let's hope not.

well i have the same problem with curling it so i dont know what to tell you there....but if you want a leave in conditoner that works well, it might help. I use Infusium 23. They also have a regular conditioner (wash out)....and another thing to try when flat ironing is hair wax.

hope it helped

It is very humid where I live as well and I have fine hair that doesn't do anything. One thing that I found helped was using Tresemme products. They are very lightweight and can help achieve the style that you are looking for. Also try using a leave in conditioner and volume enhanser that is all natural so that way if it is humid, it just helps your hair rather than destroy it more.

Well, the best thing for you to do is to go to a couple of different stylists and get their opinions or to a shop that only sells beauty lines. That way they can see and feel you hair to determine which products to buy. Or just do trial and error. I personally think that Amplify from the salon gives you alot of volume and it looks great.

After a shower use curling spray to make your hair curly, use volumizing shampoo and conditioner. Or even use moose. NEVER use a blow drier because that makes your dead and have split ends.
