I don't see how a dual voltage motor can have only 3 wires. Tell us more about it. What kind of motor? Have the actual model number?

There should be wiring instructions on the inside of the cover that encloses the space where the wire connections are made. Follow them for the correct 220 or 110 hook-up.

if motor won't run or sluggish connection is 220 otherwise motor run full power so 110 connection. Do not connect 110 wiring to 220 v supply. you'll burn the motor

hold the blue wire in you mouth
the red wire in the toilet and the black wire in your hand
that should work
