Absolutely. God often uses partners together, and working together is awesome! It's okay if you and your partner have different callings, but that can be more difficult. Depending on what exactly the callings are, if they are too different, you may not be with the right partner. But in any case, both partners should pray together, be united, and seek God. Listen to Him and seek his will.
Many blessings.

Of course that would depend on your calling. I think that the Lord knows what He's doing when He calls someone. He does equip them.
If you have a different calling than your spouse, then you should go as equipped. But I would definitely pray first. If, for example, you were called to Afghanistan, and your spouse didn't think so, it would not be good for you to be apart. Ask God to either equip the one who isn't, or show the equipped one what to do.
If, however, you're both in a local church setting, and you have been called as a Youth Leader, but your spouse is called to teach in a New Believer's Ministry, there wouldn't be any need to have both of you in the same ministry, except as I noted above.

i don't believe that partners have to be in the same ministry. The Holy Spirit gifts and calls us according to God's will and no two people will have the same calling. However, i believe that God will put marriage partners together, if not to serve in the same ministry, in a way that their ministries will complement each other. the example you used was that one is gifted to work with children and the other gifted to work with adults. well, the one gifted to work with adults could lead a bible study, and the one gifted to work with children could offer to "babysit" for those adults so they could come to the study, but instead of babysitting they should also be teaching the children about the Bible. Some adults are limited as to what studies, etc. they can attend due to lack of childcare. So while both partners are not in the same ministry as far as both teaching adults, they are working together in a ministry to adults, but in different capacities.
hope this makes sense!

I don't think it is healthy to be in different beliefs. However if you you are in the same beliefs and called into different ministries it is OK. My wife is a Sunday school teacher and I work in the media department in my church. This doesn't effect us at all.

Please add additional details. By partner do you mean spouse? Is this a marital relationship? If not, then the answer is no, and under some circumstances the answer would be no if you were married.

This is tough on. I've dated girls that were of a different religion and it wasn't easy. I'm not sure what calling you are talking about? I'm guessing that it cause problems as there maybe different beliefs/norms. Have faith, and listen to what your heart tells you.
