A lot of people say studying, but I somewhat disagree. Make your learning real in the first place and you can cut out the middle man of studying. Take what you learn and connect it with something you know. For instance, whenever I drive by this one sattelite dish I remember the word interferometry because it has to do with radio telescopes (aka sattelite dishes). Anyhow, just review what you learn in your head a few times a day every day and the learning becomes at least semi-permanent. In college I managed to teach a friend to do this and she went from an average student that studied all the time to an excellent student who rarely studied. Just review it over and over the day you learn it and you should be able to keep it in your working memory for as long as you need it. But don't forget to review and cram before tests.

a dose of reality? you're fecked in case you do not. yet you'll not be asking the question in case you probably did not know that... "education is what continues to be when you've forgotten each thing you've been taught in college". chum of mine handed over college, left with just about no skills, ignored out on college and all some thing of it. extremely regrets it, a lot that he's developed all kinds of amazing conduct to compensate. he's continually memorising Shakespeare sonnets for instance. yet as a grown up, he's conscious why it concerns now. Time will teach you why you want to study. No-one else can. Your interest is to pre-empt it. yet when this permits, imagine of an out-of-structure 20-year old who replaced into informed throughout the time of formative years to workout and in no way devour burgers, and handed over the suggestion. He/she is regretting it now, questioning the position all that means went. that's what occurs on your mind in case you do not study once you've the prospect.

Do your assingments as soon as they are given.
Don't cheat by asking on Yahoo answers, figure out the solutions on your own, even if you have to go back and re read something.
Ask the teacher questions if you have any about the assigment or lesson.
Pay attention in class and take notes.
