when you go out to dinner with a girl and she just gets a salad are you annoyed? do you like it when girls have an appetite or do you like when they eat lite?

I don't care what they eat, as long as they keep their hands on their own plate. When I was dating (I'm married now.) I would always pay. I would be willing to buy any dinner on the menu for my date, but when I ordered my food I expected to get to eat all of it. I was like "order what you want, but stay away from my food." I really hate it when a girl will not order much, "oh, I'll just get a salad." And, then she will set and eat all my food! It was always the first and last date if that happened.

I don't care what she gets, If she wants a salad then get a salad, there is no sense in a girl eating the menu just cause her man wants her to eating something than a salad.

Just the right thing, for me i hate those who are being hypocrite of eating this small amount in front of the guy and then when the guy is not around, the girl will eat as much as she want. im not saying big appetite is also good, just the right amount or the right thing

well, to tell the truth... i get a bit annoyed. the salad thing tells me a few things (and while they might not be true, they do point in that direction)
1. she's probably one of those thin girls who complains they're fat.
2. she doesn't like to eat meat
3. she vegetarian/vegan/going to call me an animal killer the moment my meaty meal comes by.
4. if she is one of those "how can you eat animals?!" kind of people i'm going to have to fight the impulse to order all meat all the time just to annoy the f*** out of her.
5. she is not someone i'm EVER going to take to my favorite restaurants because even though they do have tasty veggie dishes, this person is not going to appreciate the food. i.e. no taking her to my favorite places.
6. i'm REALLY considering not introducing her to my friends. we all like to eat (no, this does not mean we are all like garfield the cat. we just like good food and know how to appreciate it), and the places we go to are familiar to us enough that we know the cooks/waiters/waitresses by name. by the reasons listed above, there is no way they'd ever get along. for example. there is a place that makes great ribs and in large quantities. we go there maybe once every 4 to 6 months (sometimes more, somtimes less... depends on how many people we can get together). we invited one friend (salad eater) with us. we TOLD them we were going to go SPECIFICALLY to eat ribs (we were introducing new people to the place)... they said they wanted to go. once there, we all ordered ribs... except for that one friend. wtf?!?! why go if you're not going to participate? it's like agreeing to go camping with a group of friends... and then leaving the group to rent a motel.
now like i said, i could be wrong about the girl... but her eating salad... i count it as strike ONE.

yes it is annoying if the salad thing its just bc she is being fake, i dont mind spending more if we are in a restaurant and she is hungry, i like it that a girl is comfortable enough to be herslf, if that is the way she usually eats its all rite but if she gets the salad and stuffs herslf when she gets home, she is got issues LOL

I like to see friends (anyone) enjoy a meal. Whether it's out at a restaurant or if I have prepared it myself I want folks to eat! Someone puts their heart into cooking whatever is on the menu. Recognize their effort by enjoying it. After all, even girls need to eat!

I like a girl who eats whatever she really wants. If thats a salad, thats cool. What I dont like is when they pick at their food. That is the only thing that kinda bugs me.

I am not annoyed at all. I mean, what is the point of getting a huge meal when all you are going to do is talk to each other and let the food grow cold. You mind as well order something cold to begin with.

Don't care. Guys can care less about this type of stuff. Though salads are nice because they are cheaper then most other things on the menu.
A guy is thinking more 'i hope she has on a hot outfit that shows off her figure'....

Lol, if the guy is having issues with what a girl is eating and how much in a restruant...hes got issues in the head. Id want my girl to be healthy and eat until she is satisfied cause thats what i will do.
