The current Middle East crisis is a drop in the ocean compared to the countless millions who were tortured and murdered in the first half of the 20th Century by Stalin, Hitler et al. If there was going to be a 'rapture', why not then? It's all just superstitious nonsense.

I believe we are living in the last days, not just because of this current crisis in the middle east, but also all the other signs which precede the return of Christ. The Bible is the inspired Word of God, and it is proven to be, because any serious reader will see that almost all that had been prophesied has or is coming to pass.
Say, will you be ready,
When Jesus Comes
Are you truly born again
Washed in Jesus Blood|?

I believe its coming closer. I know that the rapture will happen sometime close to when the antichrist signs a seven year contract with Israel and then goes back on it. And it seems like things might be settled in the middle east which means a contract might be signed..

Yes, the end is here. The Bible is full of prophecies that have come true and that are coming true as we speak. It's very exciting to see these things happening! And it reinforces my belief in God and in the Bible every day!
If you would like to know more about these prophecies, go to the following website and take the free Bible Prophecy studies. They are FASCINATING!
Also read the article on What Left Behind left behind. It is also very interesting.

there is a lot of evidence in the Bible prophesies that indicate the end times has began. However, we have probably been in them our whole lives- and who knows just exactly how long it will be until its over. I believe that the end times began with the birth of Jesus. I know the Bible speaks of time frames, but we cant be sure if those time frames are anything like our own.

Jesus said He didn't even know when the end would come. He said that only God the Father knows when it'll be. All we can do is look for the signs spoke of in the Bible, and wait.

I might be misquoting, but i do believe there is a passage in the New Testement, where Jesus says "No one knows when it shall be except the Father..." (although, personally, i do keep an eye on the middle east...)
