I do it all the time and I am made fun of because of it but I dont think I am the only one

Yup. Once for my dad's wedding (I was the flower girl :)) I had fancy french braids w/flowers braided into it and I slept sitting in an arm chair to keep them nice-looking. I've also done that after my sister has done fancy hair styles for holidays or even just for fun. Its a little un-comfy for a while but its worth it.

well b/c u said in the south... i am from wayy in the north, wisconsin, and where i live to keep our hair in place for cheerleading... they put bandanas on our heads and we rnt to touch them until the next day... u can sleep normal and not worry about a thing

one time i wanted that and i had tried sleeping like just sitting on sofa, but then when i woke up, i was just lying down! LOL!

No, just put a pillow up under your neck and don't sleep on either side.

if it takes a lot of time and money to do ur hair. then of course. its not weird at all.

i don't but i know my friends got their hair done when they all got confirmed and they got it done on saturday but they actually got confirmed on sunday, so my one friend slept flat with her fave on her pillow all night so her hair wouldn't get ruined.
