My husband proposed on a hill overlooking Santa Barbara and the ocean at sunset with a vase full of red roses and a beautiful poem about that very moment. The end of the poem was open, and he finished it by asking if I would marry him. It was so wonderful, I will never forget it! Plus the ring he had custom-made for me, which is very romantic.

If you have your own place take her somewhere you would likely go to then have your friends set up your place by putting a table with a candle with a red table cloth and every else lights off with roses on the table and having a card in the middle saying will you marry me maybe some rose pedals on the chairs GOOD LUCK IN THE WORLD WISH YOU THE BEST AND A HAPPY MARRIAGE IF SHE SAYS YES

I have a few ideas, but they are big.....dont' know wher you live but...
1. Take her to the beach, and hire a plane to fly above the beach carrying a banner saying "will you marry me, (her name)" or
2. Baseball game, have them say it on the big screen in front of everyone or
3. Just start the day off with nothing but great things, take her out, treat her to nice romantic dinner, and propose..

Make it special and relevant to the two of you, like at a favorite place or where you first kissed or met. Take her personality into consideration. If she's shy, make sure it's private! Consider her likes....favorite pet, flower, hobby, color, vacation spot or happy place, sport, etc. Do NOT propose in bed or while intoxicated. Every girl wants a special story to treasure that moment!

Take her somewhere she likes to go around her family and friends and ur family and friends. Let her know u r totally into her. Let her know she matters most.That's how a lot of girls get proposed to or thats how they dream of getting proposed to.

well my guy proposed to me in the parking lot of a mall! it was kinda romantic becuase everyone was looking!
just find a favorite place of hers and do it, or some place like the beach or after a dinner

-tell her that nothing would make you happier than 4 her 2 b ur wife.
-be romantic and treat like a princess.
-offer her the ring on bended knee.

I think the best way to surprise someone is to make them think they are in on a surprise for someone else, then turn it around on them. For instance, I work with my fiance & he told me that another guy we work with was planning on proposing to his girlfriend. They had me go ring shopping with him to help him pick out something nice. The ring I thought i was picking for her was actually for me! The day of the proposal, I was all excited for my friend because I thought she was getting engaged. (and kinda sad that it wasn't me) We all work at a restaurant together and they came in to eat dinner on their night off. He was going to propose when dessert came. When the cover came off of the dessert their would be a message asking her to marry him. My boyfriend followed me out with their dessert and when I lifted the cover it said MY NAME asking me to marry my boyfriend!!! I was so shocked and then he pulled out the ring I PICKED OUT! They had all tricked me! It was wonderfull!!!!!

Surprise her...if she knows its comming then at least making it unforgetable. Rent a hot air balloon and do it up in the stratosphere.
