No stupid answers i will report any stupid answers!! I wuz told we have to take showers when i get to 8th grade (which is next year 06-07) what should i do im nervouse about the other guys looking at me plus whe r not able to wear bathing suits and my principle is a *****!!

If I really wouldn't want to, then I wouldn't do it. We never had to shower after gym so I was never confronted with the problem, but I know for sure I would never have done that. I would either get my mother to write a note, or I would go without showering.
Stupid schools and their dumbass rules, I don't see the point in making showering obligatorily and prohibiting bathing suits, sadists!

Get a note from your doctor that you have an anxiety regarding showering in front of others. Anything now days can be a clinically diagnosed phobia. If your principal gives you slack after you give him the doctor's note, then have your mom or dad contact him. Have them ask your principal if they would rather you pass out from a panic attack, hit your head in the showers and sue the school district. Your principal will probably shut up then.

When I was in junior high school, there were only 2 ways you could get out of it. One was to bring a note saying you had athletes foot (which is contagious in showers). The other was to be a hermaphrodite, in which case you were excused from P.E. completely.
Public showers are horrible, but there is little you can do, so you may as well get used to it. People are mean, but that is just the way life is. Get used to it.

Oh God that freaked me out in junior high! In the girls locker, no one really took showers. They turned them on sometimes, but no one used them. Sometimes if we were feelin' goofy we'd run through them with our gym clothes on.
I would just see what the other guys do. Maybe some of the older student know the routine (?). Other than that, buy some dark skivies and keep a towel near by? Arg!! Good luck man.

all you have to do is bring some swimming shorts and you'll be fine...how will the principle know??? Is he watching you or something..just bring some shorts with you and change into them while you shower...unless you don't want them looking at your chest as well....then you could just bring a t'shirt...i guess...but you'll be fine. We had to take a shower in our bathing suits....although they didn't cover up much...but you'll be fine, once you realize its not that big of deal...We had to start when we got in gym at the 9th grade...not 8th.

Don't worry about it. If you are modest and don't want to show your**** try to shower away from the others if that's possible. All the other guys will be naked too, so after a while you will get used to it. Are you afraid of being teased or just self-conscious. I personally was self conscious until I went naked in front of other guys a couple of times.

that was weird - 8th grade we took showers, in high school it was optional. It is sort of a rite of passage. To tell you the truth, after I saw other people taking a shower, I changed the way I showered. I was missing whole areas of my body!

Exposing yourself to others is quite scary. The other boys feels the same way. Talk to your friends and see what they say. Have a good sense of humor about it. Talk to your dad, also. Don't let it dominate your thoughts for this summer.

Nobody will be looking at the size of your willie, because they will be too busy protecting theirs from your sight. Just shower quiclky, get dressed and leave.
