We decided that we wouldn't spend a lot of money on plane tickets to spend most of the time in the hotel room. (We're waiting until we get married) We still wanted to be near beaches and sunshine, away from where we live, so we opted for San Diego, CA.

Decide on what you want for your romantic backdrop (beaches, mountains?) go from there. Find what fits in your budget. Your honeymoon is going to be special no matter what. You don't have to break the bank.

Mars, Saturn, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe, Redding (That's Redding, California, not Reading, PA), Seattle. Perhaps Cony ISland, or Mexico.

My husband took me on a double-honeymoon which was really nice. We got married in Napa Valley in CA (we live in the SF Bay Area just south of it) and spent a few days up there just leisurely going to a few wineries. Then a few days later we left to go on a cruise through the Caribbean. I would totally recommend this!! It's so nice, and the ports are spaced out so you have plenty of time to yourselves, but there are still interesting things to do. It was really romantic.

Here, where I live in Curacao
Curacao is a small carribean island in front of the coast of Venezuela. With crystal clear blue water and great paradise beaches for couples.
You can stay for e.g. at Kura Hulanda Lodge Inn (Westpoint.)
Nice hotel down the beach .

Spend it in Ft. Lauderdale! If you want something more romantic, go to Virginia Beach. Remember, Virginia is for Lovers.

For my honeymoon I took a Cruise to the Caribbean and one of the places that we went was St. Thomas (Us Virgin Island), and I love it, for our first anniversary we planing to travel to this island because it was wonderful.
But the better place to spend your honeymoon is in Bora Bora (Polynesian Island) its better known as "The romantic Island"
