I suggest using the Mnemonic Induction of Lucid Dreams (MILD) method where you get it in your head that you are dreaming. You just tell yourself that it's a dream as you go to sleep. Other people might do it more often; I don't know. There's more to it, but that's the gist of it. I had several lucid dreams before I started my dream journal, but so many people swear by it I have to recommend it. Reality checks help me quite a bit. Remember to do it more than once at a time. A reality check didn't work once so I thought it was real life. Look at a clock or some words twice and see if they change. I don't recommend trying to do things such as flying for a reality check. You're still not sure enough to usually pull it off.

I do wish you luck. I rarely succeed in lucidity unless I have already slept for a few hours.

if you eat a lot of sugar or carbs...you will have very lucid dreams.

Your brain goes bonkers over the higher sugar levels. Seriously...this is a fact.

You might even have a bad night's rest too because your brain is so wired.
