No Nitrogen in very inert. About 70% of the earths atmosphere is Nitrogen. Nitrogen only reacts at very high tempretures like a cars engine. In the engine Nitrogen in the atmosphere reacts and formes NO2 which causes smog.

no. Just go with the gas. Nitrogen is non-flammable. I'd give you something that you could use with the Nitrogen BUT it's not really safe to say stuff openly on any site about what you can and cant use.

No, nitrogen is inert (non-flammable). I would not recommend using it for a potato gun due to the high pressure (2000 psi on small cyl. 2400psi on the T cyl.) It could blow your cannon apart and mess you up to.

Build your potato gun out of PVC and PVC GLue is needed.
You can use lighter fluid as fuel and shoot potatoes or Tennis Balls which ever you prefer.
Now RU ready for this....matches have Phosphorus especially the white tip matches.
I've said enough you figure out the rest. I don't need FBI knocking at my door becasue I taught soemone how to make a bomb...lol
