well, if you live in a town with safe water, why not? the doctor recommended i give tap water to my 4 month old son because it has fluoride added and is good for growing teeth.

I've never heard of that before... Bottled water tastes better, but tap water is fine. I'm sure no one has ever had a miscarriage, or suffered a birth defect because they drank tap water. The only way I can drink faucet water is with ice in it. The only ice I will use is store bought lol... It just doesn't taste the same to me. I like my bottled store bought water :o)

Depends on where you are. Check with your public health department. Where I live, there is a ton of farm chemical runoff, so some places recommend that pregnant women and children under 6 years old don't drink the tap water.

Yes. Note that you've never heard of a big study saying that tap water was linked to birth defects.

I personally haven't drank tap water in years, taste funny. Filter it at the tap then filter it in one of those filter pitchers as well before you drink it.

Normally. Buy a water test (at Home Depot or somewhere like that) to test for lead/radon and other contaminants. I tested my water and it was fine.

It is fine unless, of course, you live in Baltimore. Then it could be deadly.
