Self interest! Most people wont budge until the big hand is around their neck! It take a certain amount of wisdom to be compassionate and it take a certain amount of bravery and love to feel the need to do something with your belief. Having gone that far it also takes the realization that you are likely to get no thanks even when you break the shackles!
Then again Dick Gregory pointed out every once in a while the situation gets to be like a steam kettle that has a plug on it's spout, sooner or later it's bound to explode!

Results....either positive or negative when people see how something affects them then they become impassioned and not before. The in this country are complacent and need to be united instead of polarized
