Why is okay for pro-illegals to generalize American people, but those same people will call you on generalizing Mexican people, or illegals in general.
Has anyone noticed this?
I am always seeing people saying Americans are racist, don't work hard, etc. Doesn't anyone realize this hypocrisy?
BTW- I am in no way condoning the generalization of Mexican people. I just think it needs to go both ways.

"The reason I say Americans are racist is because I see it hear it and see the hurt they do to others with their actions and words. BTW I'm an American so don't tell me to go back to where i came from. As a matter of fact I'm more Native American than most."

So I can say it without reservation pardon the pun
That was your answer to the question why are Americans racist if they want to secure the border, Gidget
To Mexican Cat- That is kind of the point of this question. Why will you not clearly admit it is not okay to generalize Americans, just as it is not okay to generalize anyone else instead of dogding the question?

I agree with your point, but the actual answer to your question is this. The left wing (liberals for those of you in Rio Linda) has always followed this game plan. They attack, if you counter then you are being partisian. They have a very simple play book, attack, attack, attack. They cannot argue on the merits of an idea, they can simply only hope to discredit their enemies by branding them racist, bigot, homophobe, rich, you name it.
They cannot (because there simply is not a way to) argue that we should let anyone across our borders unchecked and illegal. There is simply no way for half the government to verbalize we should let illegal actions happen it is a good thing. All they have is attack, attack, attack.

Current political correctness theory states that white Americans are not allowed to have pride in themselves. When I can start a United Caucasian College Fund or have a 'White Power' rally without being a racist, I will stop generalizing about other races.

It is considered ok because there are hundreds of powerful groups that promote illegal alien interests and very few looking out of American interest, particularly white American interest. If someone says that Americans are a bunch of racist, stupid, and lazy people there is no news coverage. If someone said the same thing about illegal aliens the "immigrant community" would be up in arms and it would get tons of attention.

I wonder the exact same thing. I'm not racist, but I think that if they are allowed to be racist, so are we. Whites get a lot more attention about supposedly racist things than anyone else. Why is it ok fot them to discriminate against us but not us against them?
Don't get me wrong. I hate racism, but It is not fair that they are allowed to do it and we aren't.
FYI barnabus17: I am an American and I am not a lazy, greedy, asswipe.

I think the bias gets stupid in a big hurry...people stop thinking when they get all emotional...best way to deal with it is to step back from it all, take a deep breath, try and find GOOD information about the issue, which is hard to do...

Apparently, you didn't get the newsletter...but all whites are racist and it is genetically impossible for non-whites to be racist or discriminate in any way, shape or form.
I'll put you on the mailing list. Wink Wink
