Absolutely. Always drink water BEFORE you hit the gym... if you find yourself getting thirsty during a workout... that is a sign. Next time you work out drink a little more water before you get to the gym.

" Like to the point of hospital "? You mean like to the point of being hospitalized; right ? Where are you from; Uranus ? Of course working out can lead to dehydration. Why do you see people drinking tons of water while jogging or performing other forms of exercise ? This is a very foolish question. Consult a professional.

well one thing i do recommend is that you drink a lot of water before working out just for you wont dehydrate. I dehydrated once when I was working out but I didn't have to go to the hospital.

Yes, you can, and that's bad but it's not the worst thing. When you sweat you also lose chemical salts. That's why sweat tastes salty. These are needed to keep your nervous system ticking along and you have to replace them _as_well_as_ the water you have lost. Drinks like Gatorade are specially made to supply the salts as well as the water.

An interesting thing is that when you are in need of these salts Gatorade tastes great. When you aren't, it tastes pretty blah. So you can tell when you've had as much as you need when Gatorade stops tasting good.

Yes. If you dont drink water, your skin will become badly dry and you might lose muscle instead of fats. No, I dont think you would go to the point of hospital unless you are on extreme training.
