I'm sooo bored. I have nothing 2 do all summer! I've been tryin 2 get a babysitting job 4 years! all my other friends have jobs. But my mom doesn't have friends with kids. Can u give me some good ideas. I took courses already i'm registered! I love little kidz. i know all the simple stuff like tell yer nieborz make flyers. it doesn't work! Help me pleaze!

By proving you are responsible. Baby sitting jobs spread by word of mouth. That means that parents learn that you are a good babysitter from other parents. Tell the parents on your street that you are interested in babysitting. When they call you must be available and always be responsible.
Another thing you can do is to volunteer. You will meet other people, learn new skills and get personal references you can use for a future job or going to college. There are volunteer positions helping little kids. A good site is http://www.volunteermatch.org
