I know that i am -12.50 vision when it comes to decimals. but i don't know how to convert that to 20/X terms. could you please explain how and give me the answer?

Unfortunately there is not conversion factor for the two, since seeing 20/20 is subjective and differs from person to person. But there are estimates - for a prescription as high as yours the highest letter on the chart (the big E) is probably unreadable - this means that your vision is worse than 20/400 or >20/400. 20/20 vision refers to the ability to read letters that are 20 millimeters tall from a distance of 20 feet. I am not sure about decimal readings on vision, but this probably converts to the ability to read something 12.5 mm high at 20 feet. Hope this helps.
