Tom Crusie is simply insane...you can see it in his eyes. Ya, it's an alienish (lol) religion...Hubbard was, after all, a sci-fi writer. South park was true....Scientologist really do believe that zenu trapped alien souls here on earth...there's a wiki article about it. But, they don't teach that zenu stuff till the members reach a certain level in the church. The only thing that can stop the spreading of Scientology is education and critical thinking.
Oh, and someone said that scientology doesn't hurt anyone....I think draining their members of all their money and threatening blackmail for trying to leave the church hurts people....I would say that maybe the blackmail part is a rumor, but from what I've researched it seems to be true.

It's a Hollywood cult religion started by Sci-fi author Ron Hubbard. He wrote: Stranger in A Strange Land. Read the book, and you get an incite into the religion, kinda Alien love! But I believe really harmless. Tom Cruise however, should learn to not express his beliefs to the media. It makes him seem totally wacko!! And such a control freak!!!

You can not stop it as you can not stop any of all the false religions/beliefs that are coming and growing. If you read the word of God, it does say that in the end times the false prophets (and their teachings) will multiply and seduce a great many. But those who are true to God will have discernment. God will not change it and it will reach it's end.
People are attracted to it because it pleases the pride and feelings of many. It's not choses by truth but by the fact it pleases the people joining. They don't seek the truth for all who seek the truth find it (In Jesus) but only something where they feel good. That's it that's all.
And it is one of the many ways satan is using to confuse and blind the most people.

Ok, think about this logically. It is a religion, started by a Science Fiction Writer from the 1970's. Its about these Thetans who esaped oppression from some galactic warlord by taking on a physical form and living on earth....
You don't have to do anything to stop its spread. Think of it as just another part of the natural selection that God created. Stupid people really do need to be bred out of our race.

Scientology. Well, take apart the word to know what it is.
Scient = scientists
olog = a log
y= why
It literally means, why did the scientists lay that huge log.
Is it bad? Yes. Should it go away? Yes. Eh, just get sued homes.

Well this is the United States Of America.
you can chose to be what ever religion you want.
It is called FREEDOM.
You let others chose as they wish also.
I have not research into it and I don;t wish to as I believe the way I was brought up to believe.
I think it's kind of cultish from what I heard.
BUT
just because I think they are kind of off, does not mean that others might not find it to be to their likeing.

before you condem anything, you should do a little more reasearch than watching a south park episode on it. i'm not religious and i love south park, but it has never been my primary source of religious research.

Why stop something you don't understand or don't agree with?
I am in no way religious but I respect that folks have their own beliefs ... I just don't have to respect their actual beliefs.
