I met a nice young lady,but i have not told her yet that i've been married for 24 years,but i have been seperated for most of my marital years.We haven't discussed relationship yet,because i really don't know how she is going to react when i tell her that i am married.She has 4 children and does not have a man right now,and it seems like she is looking for a good man friend.How do you'll ladies think she might react to me telling her about my past?How would you react if you had feelings for a man and he suddenly told you this?

well you should be upfront and honest from the beginning but if your separated I don't think she would have a problem with it more than likely she will be pissed because you didn't tell her at first

I would be really upset. Why havent you gotten a divorce? Thats what shes going to definelty ask you too. Why? I'd think you are lying about the separtion for most of your marital life. She will too. If you are smart, you'd get a divorce, because no women will go for that. Why would she.

I think I'd run from you ... as far and as fast as I could.
Unless you've got a great excuse -- wife in a coma who needs your health insurance -- stop messing around until you've got that marriage thing fixed. And if you must mess around, be upfront about the wife.

It would be upsetting I think but more perplexing. Why on earth are you still married but separated for most of your years? Why not get a divorce?
