I think it is roundworm, cause it's looks like spagetti, I've treated him once for worms already but I read on the internet that they can get them back if all animals aren't treated and I have another dog and 3 cats. So, I think I have to treat them all. He didn't poop it out with his poop, it just came out by itself !! uuuuuurrrrgggg :(

Roundworms look like spaghetti. Tapeworms look like rice. Heart worms are in the heart and blood, not in the stool. Ringworm is actually a fungus that grows on the skin. Bring a stool sample to the vet and they can tell you which type of worm it is and give you the proper meds.

there are a lot of different worms your dog can get. The most common I deal with is the tape worm especially during the summer. The tape worm will look like a rice grain normally. They come from the dog swallowing a flea that is infected.
You can put the poop in a bag bring it to the vet. Or just take the dog to the vet and they can do a fecal exam.
The ringworm is a fungus infection. isn't passed through the stool.
your dog should be on heartworm preventative if not get him tested for heartworms. Then put the dog on pills. These arent be passed through the stool.
Tape worms are passed through the stool.

If it looks like spaghetti then it's roundworms. This is actually pretty common. If your dog has been to your vet before, they may be able to dispense meds after a phone call and that will be that. Bringing in a fresh fecal sample wouldn't be a bad idea either. With a fecal sample they can find hookworms, roundworms, whipworms, and coccidia. Tapeworms are not diagnosed by fecal float. Which type of egg it is can be determined if a segment is brought in by looking at it under a microscope. (Tapeworms come from either fleas or eating rodents) Heartworm is diagnosed by a blood test. If this hasn't been done recently, I would recommend it. Worms in puppies are common, they get passed along from the mother. In older dogs, they aren't rare either. But left untreated can be harmful to your dog.

If it smaller that half a centimeter long, it is none of the above. A ringworm is acutally a fungus. Tapeworms aren't passed. Heart worms aren't passed. You dog probably just has a case of the "worms." At least, that's what the vet will say. He will give your dog a mild laxative and your dog will be fine. It is not a dire situation, but your dog does need to go to the vet to be de-wormed. It is a common procedure,...cats have it done too.

I believe tapeworm. You should take it to a vet and ask them but it won't be a heartworm as those live in the bloodstream (actually inside the heart) so won't come out of the digestive system. In any case you will have to treat them and should have the dog evaluated for other types of worms.

Dogs can have several different types of worms, sometimes at the same time. The best thing for your dog is to take a fecal sample (fresh) and the dog to a vet. They will determine what type(s) of worm your dog has and treat it safely and effectively. Over the counter wormers are harmful, even fatal to a pet. Left untreated the worms can kill your dog.

Tape worm. The vet charges about $4.00 for the liquid to kill them. Mine doesn't charge an office visit fee. If yours does, just get the meds in a syringe & give it to the dog yourself. Look where your dog lays or sits most. If you find little rice looking things, that's tapeworm.

Sounds like a roundworm. Has your dog had diarrhea, vomiting, poor appetite? Swollen belly, like a pot belly? Sometime, not to gross you out-they can also vomit up the worms. Save the worms, and take to the vet, along with a stool sample, asap. This dog needs help.
