The laws are to protect the " victims " not to lock them up. A law like that would never pass.

I think you mean the offender not the victim?

It is because the bleeding heart liberal judges are more concerned about the human rights of the criminal and are not think of the harm it will do to society to let them walk free. Most sexual assault offenders, offend more than once even when they have been in prison.

The solution is get better judges and stiffer penalties for these crimes. Ask your local lawmakers to address this. When you vote- vote out the judges who are making the stupid decisions to let these people go free to hurt others.

same reason there's not a law to put child molestors away forever. I say if the issue is prison overcrowding, that we solve that by castrating the convicted offender. That should eliminate the ability to ever sexually assault or rape anybody again...Just some thoughts...

Assuming you mean the assaulters, not the victims - the answer can be phrased simply. There isn't a law that enacts that justice because men, old white greedy rich men made the laws, and like minds uphold it. If we had a dominantly female society, rapists and molesters and the like would get what they deserved for their depravity, corruption, and the trauma and hurt they cause others, just like murderers.

I assume you mean the perpetrator rather than the victim?

I agree if there are multiple convictions they shouldn't be let back out. One conviction though, and if they show remorse, empathy for their victim and a sincere desire to change, I do like to believe that people can change and that a second prison term would be a deterrant.

First off the victim is the person the crime is committed against, so we wouldn't want to incarcerate them.
As for the criminal...I agree with you, they can't be rehabilitated. Until everyone makes it their problem and demand our Judaical system change, nothing will change. I don't think it's a liberal thing I think it's an a$$hole thing. I think we should even go a step further, myself. I think any judge or prison or parole board or "powers that be" who lets one of these scum of the earth walk free should be held liable for any future crimes committed.

Rape and Assault are not fully Sexual activity; its more of a Control action. This will negate castration as the answer. .. castration will only elevate the criminal to a murderous fiend that uses other long protrusions to molest before discarding his victim. Since it is a psychology to be controlled then yep, they need to stay longer.

Yeah, I'm with this guy. You put the victims away forever in solitary confinment so they'll never get raped again. Yeah, it's so crazy it just might work.

Because the Bible says a rapist is supposed to marry the victim as punishment. It doesn't say anything about going to jail forever. :P

It all depends depending the case, and legal statutes, and the severity of the crime. If it was a statutory rape case or a deviant sexual assault on a minor, each offense has different consequences. its all about politics
