Actually, yes. And the Michael of the bible is the Michael of the quran. Both the bible and the Quran come from the same source, the ancient scriptures.
However, the ancient jews believed that Micahel was their angel and the muslims believed that Gabriel was theirs. Each believed that their angel was the cheif angel.

No, in the koran it is satan claiming to be the angel Gabriel. Muhammad told his first wife, he thought the visitation seem evil. But she convinced him it was indeed Gabriel

Yes. In fact, there are many similar stories and persons in Bible and in Koran. Only the names are changed (Moses is Musa, for example, Abraham is Ibrahim, etc.)
