My kids like to make these and they are simple, easy and less messy to bake and eat.....

Depending on the quantity you want to make you can use as little or as much as needed.

Take a can of your favorite canned biscuits (we use the flaky grands brand)
Use pitted cherries (canned or frozen, or fresh)
Put the biscuit on a flat surface, pat out till thinned to 2x its original size, spread cherries on the center and fold over. Press the edges together to keep it from leaking. If you want it sweeter, you can sprinkle sugar to cherries before folding.
Bake for 10-12 minutes per 8 pies @ 400. Baste tops with butter when done and sprinkle with sugar if desired.

We also use canned apples, blueberry, peaches, strawberry....any kind of fruit the kids want. It is simple and easy to clean up.
If you decide to try it, let me know what ya think.

Nowadays so easy. You can buy a can of cherry pie filling already made. (They are surprisingly very tasty!) You can actually buy pie crusts that are already made -- they are kept in the freezer section of the grocery store. You have to thaw them out to an extent, and then roll them into a pie tin. Very, very easy, and it'll look, smell, and taste homemade! Oh, you can put a couple of pats of butter on the cherry and even add cinnamon, if you like that. Be creative!

4 cups pitted cherries
1 cup sugar (1-1/4 cups for sour cherries)
1/4 cup flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pastry for a double-crust 9-inch pie

Mix ingredients for filling. Place in pastry-lined pie pan. Put top crust on. Cut vent slits in top crust and flute edges. Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar. Bake at 425'F for 25 minutes, reduce heat to 350'F and bake for 25-30 minutes more.

mash it all together and roll it or squish it into a pie pan, put some ol in it.

Then pit the cherries and stir them with a little lemon and sugar or honey, or just buy a can of cherries for pies

Then cook it for 40 minutes at 350F

Buy frozen unbaked pie crusts, and cherry pie filling in a can, then bake the pie crust, fill it, cover it with another pie crust, poke holes in it, and bake again. Voila - two-ingredient cherry pie! :)

I agree. By a graham cracker crust, Cherry pie filling, add one tsp. almond extract to give it that home made flavor, and Viola! You have cherry pie.
